The Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for leading a team of culinary professionals that deliver modern, unique dishes and fresh preparation. The AKM must oversee proper food safety and sanitation as well as cost control and profitability. Candidates who are truly service-minded, detail-orientated, and most importantly possess a strong manager and teacher mentality, will be valued by this growing organization
The ideal candidate for this role brings 3+ years of equivalent level experience from another well-known and respected full-service restaurant group. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in high-volume, modern restaurants.
*$6M/year minimum restaurant experience at the AKM level
*Cuisine backgrounds including Modern American and Sushi
*Maintain and drive the highest professional, food quality and sanitation standards.
*Ability to interact positively with staff, management and guests.
*Ability to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
*Organizational skills including experience managing a budget, purchasing, and P&L
*Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
