Seeking a driven Chef de Cuisine with a deep culinary passion for a highly awarded and top-rated luxury hotel located in Nashville, TN. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Chef de Cuisine is responsible for educating and mentoring the kitchen staff, consistently inspecting all aspects of the culinary process, and actively participating in the execution. Additionally, the individual must be able to maintain a polished demeanor/appearance and have exceptional customer service skills.

Additional responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
Motivate and inspire the culinary team to execute and maintain high standards of preparation, cleanliness, and execution
Enable an environment that’s engaging, where motivated people want to join/stay, learn, do their best, and advance
Lead a diverse team by modeling the way, by empowering, and providing on the job coaching
Use culinary expertise to coordinate, plan, and oversee the safe production, preparation, and presentation of food for exceptional guest experience and increased flow through
Work with the Executive Chef to improve processes that increase safety and optimize profitability
Set the example of professionalism, work ethic, and maintain a calm and focused demeanor even during times of pressure
Evaluate, monitor, and inspect inventory levels


Minimum of 2 years of culinary management experience (Executive Sous Chef/Lead Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine) in a fine-dining environment is required
Luxury hotel experience is highly preferred with prior Forbes 4 or 5 Star experience taking precedent
Must be able to complete a cooking test and deliver the WOW factor
Driven towards consistency, quality, and service excellence
Certificate or degree in Culinary Arts preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed
