Beautiful Resort Property in Cinnamon Shore is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join their team. This is a dream role with a Salt Life lifestyle because the resort is only partially open/busy during part of the year. The Chef will be responsible for a Pizza concept, event space, catering, pool bar and pool concessions.
The Chef is responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of the food, adhering to local DOH and company standards of health and safety, and properly maintaining kitchen equipment. The Head Chef will work to train and coach the BOH team, place orders and maintain pars, correct delayed orders and mistakes, and maintain a positive work environment.
Minimum 4 years of BOH supervisory experience in an Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager or Assistant Kitchen Manager role. Experience in a made-to-spec, scratch kitchen a must. Experience with Japanese or other Asian cuisine a plus, but not required. Candidate should be a go-getter with excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong knowledge of P&L is a must.
