RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Summary:
The Chief Marketing Officer is a critical position responsible for developing a strategic narrative for each entity/subset of this conglomerate group with the macroscopic goal of connecting their complex individual projects together under a single brand, story, vision, and mission. The target audience includes stakeholders, investors, financial institutions, partners, local government, and the general public. The CMO reports to the Founder and Chairman and will partner with the executives of each entity to formulate and execute the company’s marketing and branding strategy to ensure consistency across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
Establish an effective marketing and branding strategy constantly pushing the limits of traditional definitions of marketing
Develop collateral, messaging, and branding guidelines
Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns, from idea generation through execution
Drive and ensure a cultural awareness of the marketing strategy and vision across the company
Evaluate current strategic positioning and investigate new opportunities; devise new ways to reach our intended audiences that are consistent with business objectives
Maintain the development of new business opportunities through marketing and branding initiatives
Develop marketing ideas designed to highlight the creativity, thought-leadership, and areas of expertise and interest
Manage and increase marketing analytics capabilities; delivering reports and constantly optimizing ROI of all marketing/communications efforts

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 15 years of progressive marketing experience with 5 years of experience in managing high-performing marketing teams
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications; MBA preferred
Extensive business development/sales experience at a national level; international experience preferred
An in-depth understanding of the marketing function and the CMO role (including leadership, operations management, strategy, business development, trends, use of metrics/KPI
Ability to lead and manage ambiguous situations
