We are looking for a Corporate Culinary Manager that is passionate about food! The Corporate Culinary Manager must have experience in both operations and training, product development and testing new products. We need someone that can help with product innovations and keeping up with current trends. The Corporate Culinary Manager will be responsible for the quality and improvement of culinary, food production, equipment, and tools used in daily operations. This position is based in Austin, Texas and reports to the Director of Operation and CEO.
-Identify and prioritize initiatives to reduce recipe execution inconsistency through (a) extensive travel to restaurants to work shoulder to shoulder with our Tribe, (b) relentless pursuit of a better way of doing everything.
-Train our Regional Managers to become partners in execution of initiatives to reduce recipe execution inconsistencies.
-Improve our product (food) and through training our Regional Managers, reduce incidents of guest complaints.
-Execute special projects to conclusion with an attention to detail and sense of urgency – example project is analyzing impact of potential change of a piece of equipment.
-Conduct quality control audit for key products on a recurring basis.
-Lead company standard and training to protect the health and safety of our guests.
-Develop/Validate Best In Class results/practices.
-Work with business partners to improve product yield and shelf life.
-Experience at the Corporate Culinary Level in a QSR or Fast Casual Brand.
-Technical culinary degree required.
-3 or more years with foodservice operations and training required.
-High volume production experience is a plus.
-Excellent training and presentation skills.
-Experience with new product innovation.
-Strong collaboration skills throughout all levels of the organization.
