Ready to get out of California’s high cost of living? We are actively searching for an innovative Culinary Director for Denver's leading farm to table restaurant group. The Culinary Director will oversee and coordinate the planning, organization, training, and leadership of all back-of-house operations. The Culinary Director will lead the development and mentoring of existing and new store teams. This position is responsible for ensuring food quality and consistency, as well as menu direction for all restaurant concepts company-wide. The ideal candidate will have multi-unit operation experience in a full-service chef-driven concept.


• Support the VP of Operations in running all BOH operations of the restaurants
• Lead, train, motivate and mentor all culinary managers
• Excel at maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization of the kitchens
• Comply with all applicable laws and guidelines in respect to federal, state and local agencies
• Develop, implement and execute culinary service standards by ensuring that all food presentations are quality-focused and consistent
• Assist with all menu planning, and manage all culinary costing
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, and sanitation/cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment
• Work in the restaurant kitchens and monitor operations from a BOH perspective
• Work directly with chefs to ensure that we maintain an efficient, well-trained staff, and proper staffing levels/labor budgets are met
• Proper execution of administrative/HR functions
• Directly monitor food cost by reviewing discrepancies, correcting negative trends
• Overseeing the repairs and maintenance of the kitchens, ensuring proper cleanliness/functionality
• Maintain an open and clear line of communication with the VP of Operations in regards to kitchen operations and personnel
• Hold weekly chefs’ meetings to ensure clear communication of expectations and goals
• Standardize kitchen operations through the creation, review, and implementation of SOP's
