This position is responsible for developing and implementing an annual beverage marketing program to increase beverage sales and meet annual beverage sales goals at all corporate and franchise restaurants. Key areas of responsibility include: developing an ongoing innovation pipeline of new cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages; managing all national and some regional beverage promotions including beverage menu development; establishing and nurturing relationships with national and local beverage partners; managing beverage co-op funds; creating, testing and implementing beverage programs to grow beverage sales at the restaurant unit level.
Works with Restaurant Operations to develop operating procedures, company policies, specifications, standards, programs and initiatives relating to the sale of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the Company.

Create an annual beverage marketing plan to include national annual promotions, quarterly beverage promotions, and local store marketing activations.
Manage Beverage Co-op Budget; Prepare annual plan and monthly updates.
Secure national beverage co-op dollars, incentives and grants as needed, solicit vendor participation for conferences and meetings.
Develop a pipeline of beverages in both the alcohol and non-alcoholic categories for seasonal and annual menu roll-outs.
Manage national beer and wine programs.
Work with all beverage partners, including technology partners and agencies, to leverage assets, manage costs and stay current on industry trends.
Manage beverage projects from ideation through implementation.
Develop standard beverage program Key Performance Indicators and annual goals for the system and for the unit level.
Develop and deploy local store beverage marketing programs, including tool kits.
Act as a resource for the franchise community.
Stay current on beverage alcohol laws and assist HGI and franchisee’s on ensuring compliance.
Participate in developing and delivering curriculum for franchisee training at bar classes.
Foster positive relationships with employees and franchisees.
