The Director of Housekeeping for this stunning, full-service hotel is responsible for directing and administering all Housekeeping operations to ensure the overall cleanliness and product quality of the hotel and the public areas in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and to achieve financial goals. The Director of Housekeeping is a member of the hotel's executive leadership team and reports to the General Manager. Direct reports include an Assistant Housekeeping Manager and three Housekeeping Supervisors.
Two to three years of progressive management experience in large, fast-paced, hotel housekeeping environment with at least two years as Director of Housekeeping
Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria
Effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
Thorough knowledge of all matters relating to the proper administration and operation of Hospitality Housekeeping operations
Medium work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
