The Director of Human Resources and Training acts as the lead across all functional areas of HR, including culture, workforce strategy and planning, workforce analytics, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, leadership development and compliance. This position serves as a partner to all levels of management and staff on human resource related issues. In addition, the Dir of HR and Training will assess the development needs and be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, managing and evaluating the systems and results through benchmarking and research. Core skills for success include proven communication protocols, exemplary project management skills (inception, follow up, follow through and completion through direction and delegation) and effective strategic methods for enhancing employee performance at the restaurants.
Minimum of 3 Years experience at the Director level for a multi-unit full-service restaurant group in the capacity of human resources, training and development.
A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; Human Resources or Management course of study preferred.
PHR, SPHR, preferred.
Minimum five years progressively responsible human resources experience with a hospitality organization in a multi-unit environment; restaurant company preferred.
Experience in restaurant/retail operations a plus.
Demonstrated background in engagement and retention strategies, effectively handling employee relations, human resources policies and compliance required.
