We are looking for a Human Resources Director to oversee the different aspects of the Human Resources department from compliance to talent acquisition; from employee development to cultivating a collaborative, inspiring work environment.
Our HR Director will utilize his or her strong recruiting experience as well as develop HR policies and programs to ensure staffing and development of team members. The candidate must also have the ability to originate human resources practices and objectives that will provide a balanced program throughout all departments as well as assist and advise management on human resources issues. He or She will review and make recommendations to executive management for the improvement of the organization's policies, procedures, employee handbook and practices on personnel matters. Also, the Director will be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and employment legislation and ensure the company's compliance.
-5 to 7 years in Hotel and/or Restaurant Human Resources experience is preferred.
-Must have a strong recruiting background
-Demonstrated competence in various HR functional areas, such as training, compensation, benefits, employee development and performance management.
-Demonstrated experience in partnering with a diverse team of employees, managers and supervisors.
-Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
