Our client is an iconic, luxury Forbes 5-Star and AAA 5-Star hotel located in the heart of Nashville, TN is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Human Resources to join their executive team. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
The overall objective of the Director of Human Resources position is to align human resource objectives with the company strategies to deliver HR services that enable business success. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for talent acquisition, succession/workforce planning, performance management/development at all levels, and coaching/developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner. They are to provide inspiring and strategic leadership while directing the activities of the property in support of the mission, core values, standards and goals established by the company.
The ideal candidate will have boutique/luxury hotel experience with a proactive approach to facilitate employee engagement. This is a hands-on role that calls for an energetic and charismatic Human Resources leader.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related training equivalent
Minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience in similar scope
Expert knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures as well as considerable knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations pertaining to HR matters
Prior experience at a luxury, independent/boutique hotel is highly valued
