This growing hospitality group is seeking a talented Director of Membership to continue a successful membership strategy for a venue which features a sophisticated and luxurious dining and social space, internationally influenced cuisine, a refined beverage program, and one-of-a-kind events. We are looking for a candidate who has a strong “book of business” and the ability to close deals. In addition to the Director of Membership’s own primary contacts, we are looking for someone who is resourceful in tapping into their secondary networks and tertiary networks through strategic partnerships to build the sales pipeline.
Core work activities include:
-Achieving (exceeding!) budgeted membership targets and revenue goals annually through the solicitation of new membership leads.
-Advising, planning and executing membership programming, communication, and value-added benefits to enhance the overall membership experience.
-Collaborating with the SVP of Brand Marketing to create a marketing plan in order to uncover new and potential business to drive membership demand.
-Maintaining financial accuracy and tracking of membership sales results and members.
-Attending events that have the potential to generate membership sales.
This position offers a competitive base salary (DOE) plus commission, giving unlimited upside earning potential.
-Recent experience in sales for the private club industry or other luxury brands (private aviation, real estate, yacht charters) with a proven track record of success.
-Strong time management, networking, organization and prioritization skills.
