The Senior Director of Business Development will focus on the acquisition of new business accounts with top corporations within the Northeast Region of the United States. This individual will be responsible for prospecting potential partners and upon identification, opening discussions with prospects, negotiating business terms, contracts and all relevant duties associated with developing new partnerships. -Minimum 5 years successful track record selling value-add hospitality solutions in the contract foodservice setting
-Strategic thinker that can create & execute action plans to identify, pursue, and win new business
-Strong interpersonal, communications, presentation, negotiation, sales, and influencing skills
-Strong prospecting skills – can identify, pursue, and connect at the right level
-Strong at solution creation, proposal development, financial proforma, and contract negotiation
-Detail oriented, organized, able to work independently & with others, prioritize and multi-task
-Team player – can lead and direct others cross-functionally
-Strong computer skills emphasizing knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Preferably a “foodie” with a passion for wellness-driven lifestyle and healthful eating
-The Senior Director of Business Development will work from his/her home office in the greater NYC area. Must enjoy and have the flexibility to travel as needed throughout the Northeast region of the United States (from Maine to Washington DC). A company car will be provided.
