Event Sales and Catering Director

$40,000 to $45,000 plus Commision and Bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are helping Greenville newest restaurant and event space find an experienced Events Sales & Catering Director to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Responsibilities include developing key growth strategies, hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends. The ideal candidate is eager and motivated to grow the business to for the new property and has experience in both large scale, social and corporate events.

REQUIREMENTS:

*Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics that inspire the sales team to meet and exceed standards
*Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding past targets
*Previous experience in private/special events sales within the hospitality sector
*Experience with various concepts and venue types in hospitality (restaurants, bars, night-life, events-only spaces)
*Strong network of corporate and social clientele
*Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
*Demonstrate experience developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
*Excellent listing, negotiation, and presentation skills
