Event Sales Director – New Creative, Multi-Space Venue

This position will have you leading the event sales function for a dynamic, modern venue in Midtown West featuring several spaces (hip-casual to luxury-exclusive) for a broad range of event clients. From meeting spaces to outdoor cocktail receptions to a raw, flexible event venue that can be configured for concerts, fashion shows, corporate launches, weddings and more, there is unlimited potential for this exciting hospitality venue.

In this Event Sales Director position, you will be responsible for growing event bookings through relationship building and networking with the social and business/industry segments. Also responsible for leading clients through the planning and preparation process of their event including creating proposals, menus, timelines, and managing deposits. Must be a creative leader with the ability to sell, plan, and execute trendsetting events through various forums including social media and public relations.

-The successful candidate will be a determined, high energy professional with 4 years (minimum) of recent event sales and planning experience in a high volume New York City venue serving corporate and social clients.
-Strong knowledge of the local market, an existing contact list and a proven track record of driving measurable sales growth are essential.
-Must be computer savvy, detail-oriented, and supremely organized.
-There is a lot of autonomy in this role and the ideal candidate will be a self-directed, highly motivated professional with a contagious enthusiasm for creating one-of-kind special events.
