-The ideal candidate for this Executive Chef role brings 3+ years of equivalent level experience from a high volume ($3M/year as a minimum) and well-regarded casual-upscale restaurant.
-Formal culinary training will be looked upon favorably and excellent references are a must.
-Multiple cuisine backgrounds including modern America with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal seafood is a huge plus.
-Proven experience in team-building by communicating a common purpose, empowering staff to contribute their best.
-Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends (5 day work week).
-Must have excellent communication skills and knowledge of basic restaurant business administration including food cost and labor management.
-A sound foundation of knowledge of laws/regulations pertaining to NYC human resources compliance.
