We are looking for an Executive Chef with experience managing and operating a fine dining restaurant kitchen with either James Beard or Michelin Guide recognition for Atlanta's premier fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate operates with polish and an eye on the details. Our client values someone who can build and leads teams that expect nothing less than perfection. *Minimum of 5-years directly related experience in a fine dining, James Beard and Michelin Guide award-winning restaurant
*Displays consistent attention to detail and follow-through of all restaurant policies
*Represents the restaurant professionally through effective communication, cooperation and relationships with all business partners
*Collaborates with team to create a culture and restaurant work environment based upon respect; fosters opportunities for the team to learn, grow and develop their abilities
*Leads the Management Staff, ensures that service standards are on par with all outside accreditation sources: including but not limited to Zagat, Gayot, Relais & Chateaux, Mobil 5 Star, AAA Five Diamond, and The Wine
*Performs all aspects of the position with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy, and initiative.
*Understand the philosophy of management, hotel, and the owner
*Responsible for estimating food needs, ordering, and delivery of fresh food & supplies, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, suppliers & maintenance personnel
