We are assisting a lifestyle branded hotel in Columbus, Ohio find an experienced Executive Chef with Southern Pedigree for the opening it's upcoming, newly constructed 160 room hotel. The Columbus location will feature a rooftop bar & restaurant, with artfully crafted and curated drinks, and an exceptional dining experience highlighting upscale Southern Cuisine. The ideal candidate will have experience in nationally recognized chef-driven concepts. The goals for this group are ambitious as they want to create one of the top restaurants in Ohio.
• Established culinarian with 3 plus years as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine
• Farm to table cooking background as well as strong knowledge of regional Southern cooking
• An individual who values and builds great work environments
• Natural teacher - ability to develop staff as well as engage in public events that include cooking demonstrations
• Must understand the importance of culture in business and thrive in companies with a culture of inclusiveness
• Strong tenure, no job hoppers
• College degree
• Passion for their craft and continuous quest for professional growth as a chef
