A sophisticated, innovative and high-end Asian-inspired restaurant is seeking the next rising star chef to take the helm of this modern Nashville establishment.
The Executive Chef is responsible for leading a team of culinary professionals that deliver modern sushi, unique dishes and fresh preparation. The Executive Chef must oversee proper food safety and sanitation as well as cost control and profitability. Candidates who are truly service-minded, detail-orientated, and most importantly possess a strong manager and teacher mentality, will be valued by this growing organization
The ideal candidate for this Executive Chef role brings 3+ years of equivalent level experience from another well-known and respected full-service restaurant group. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in high-volume, modern seafood/sushi restaurants.
*Upward progression in your resume will be looked upon favorably, as well as formal culinary training.
*$6M/year minimum restaurant experience at the Executive Chef level.
*Cuisine backgrounds including Modern American, Sushi and Seafood are a plus.
*Maintain and drive the highest professional, food quality and sanitation standards.
*Ability to interact positively with staff, management and guests.
*Ability to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
*Organizational skills including experience managing a budget, purchasing, and P&L
*Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
