This is an immediate Executive Chef opportunity with a premium foodservice concept that prides itself on serving the nation's top companies, from startups to industry titans. We are seeking an innovative, trail-blazing Executive Chef to focus on menu creativity, management of a large production team across two sites, high-volume precision ordering, client interaction, and floor presence. The Executive Chef will have most weekends off unless she/he is participating in a culinary industry event in the community. Qualified candidates will have 3 or more years of upscale restaurant, hotel or polished business dining experience as an Executive Chef. Strong business administration skills including hiring, scheduling, food cost management, inventory, ordering and knowledge of Local, State, and Federal Labor Law regulations. Candidates should also have experience with logistics planning and banquet/event experience. Candidates must be able to successfully undertake a mentoring and coaching role to support the development of all members of the kitchen team including 2 Sous Chefs/Team Leaders. Strong decision-making and ability to proactively make changes as needed. Executive Chefs within this organization are supported in their participation in community and industry events that promote healthy eating with real, sustainable ingredients as well as other community relations programs. A culinary degree will be looked upon favorably.
