Executive Sous Chef – Fine Dining Restaurant and Resort

$40,000 to $50,000 BOE plus bonus and benefits

Lakefront resort and wedding venue with 25+ acres and an award-winning fine dining restaurant seek an Executive Sous Chef to manage the food production process and a team of kitchen staff members. This is an opportunity for a proven restaurant professional with a high level of sophistication, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality. This individual must have an exceptional knowledge of food, cleanliness, logistics, purchasing, personnel management/training & development, proven ability to control labor and food costs, focus on quality and food safety assurance, creativity and flair, and talent for creating seasonal ala carte/special event/buffet menus, and daily restaurant specials. You must have experience in fine dining concepts. Local sourcing, organic gardening, and scratch kitchen experience preferred.


The ideal candidate for this Executive Sous Chef role brings 3+ years of equivalent experience from top-rated full-service restaurants. Formal culinary training is required along with experience working in a $2M+ establishment. Must be food-driven and passionate about leading a team of culinary employees. This position is based in Flat Rock, NC and relocation assistance will be considered for non-local candidates who are willing to relocate.
