RESPONSIBILITIES:

A chef-driven restaurant group is seeking experienced Restaurant General Manager with vast experience in high volume, food-focused, casual dining service. Craft cocktail and beverage knowledge a MUST! The ideal candidate will also exhibit strong leadership, poise, and have a genuine passion for local, organic ingredients and modern food trends. Candidate must also have strong administrative skills including hiring, training, coaching, SOP's, inventory, purchasing, timekeeping, scheduling, and strong P&L oversight and management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Restaurant General Manager candidates need:

Minimum 2-3 years experience as a restaurant GM
Prior experience in training service staff in a polished casual dining restaurant or hotel
Experience in a chef-driven concept
High volume experience of $5 Million a year of higher
Extensive food & beverage knowledge with the ability to train and mentor staff
Employee focus, positive approach, respect & empathy, able to handle basic employee issues and problems
Fiscal responsibility, a solid understanding of general restaurant financials such as food/beverage and labor costs, inventory, comps and voids
Accountability, good attention to detail, does what he/she says, takes responsibility and professional
Proactive and takes initiative with a can-do attitude, good organizational skill
