The General Manager is responsible for the planning, launching, opening, and managing of the executive and operational teams for a brand new hotel located in the heart of Downtown Nashville, TN opening in 2021. The ideal candidate comes with recent experience in building an exceptional hotel executive team and has successfully executed the opening of a full-service hotel with a minimum of 400 rooms. This individual takes an active role in the community to increase hotel awareness with a focus on increasing local and convention group business for the property. Additionally, the General Manager has oversight of maximizing the financial performance of the hotel by providing the highest level of guest service and product by demonstrating exemplary leadership.
Minimum of 5 years of GM experience at full-service hotel(s), with at least 2 years in a large convention city environment
Prior hotel opening experience (400 rooms or greater)
Consistent track record of achieving high performance in hotel KPI
Ability to manage stakeholder's expectations
Hilton brand experience preferred*
