This popular, authentic boulangerie and upscale restaurant is seeking experienced General Managers to join the team in NYC. The restaurants consist of both a retail bakery and a full service, sit down cafe with a great specialty coffee program. All bread and pastries are baked on-site daily with a high standard of quality, combining ancestral techniques with a pinch of creative innovation! General Managers will be responsible for hiring, development, terminations and generally holding all team members accountable for their work. They are responsible for profitability, expense control, inventory control, purchasing and merchandising, regulatory compliance and special projects as assigned.
Candidate should have at least 3 years of General Manager experience in either a full service or upscale, fast-casual setting (preferably some experience with both). Must have full charge P & L experience, and be able to take ownership of store profitability. Must be a team player and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Passion for the food and beverage business required. Entrepreneurial spirits encouraged! A "can do" work ethic, excellent communication skills and a healthy obsession with customer service required.
