This boutique-sized premium business dining group is seeking a creative and dynamic General Manager for a flagship, employer-subsidized account in New York City. By blending polished service, innovative scratch-made culinary creations, and impeccable execution, this group continues to be an industry leader for corporate foodservice excellence. Responsibilities include providing overall leadership and management of the daily operation of a dining room, snack stations, and catered events while demonstrating exceptional hospitality to customers, corporate guests, and team members.
The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of recent Multi-Unit Restaurant Operations, Food Service Director, or equivalent experience in high-volume, upscale casual dining such as a restaurant, hotel, event venue, upmarket contract food service, or related hospitality concept. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, specifically with a hospitality or business administration concentration, will be highly valued. Strong business acumen, P & L accountability, and knowledge of NYC, NY State and Federal human resources principals. Excellent overall problem-solving, client relations, and communication skills.
