The General Manager will lead the team and overall operational aspects of the soon-to-open, full-service hotel located in Downtown Ocala, Florida. They are responsible for ensuring the successful opening of the hotel, meeting and or exceeding revenue and profit goals, effectively controlling costs, and ensuring associate satisfaction, product quality, and outstanding guest service. The GM will inspire and support the hotel's team to reach their highest potential while delivering results.
The successful candidate has a great sense of discipline, humility, and integrity; this individual is comfortable and experienced in managing the expectations of stakeholders.
A minimum of 4 years of progressive hotel experience is required with at least 1 year of experience as a Hotel General Manager or 2 years as an Assistant General Manager
Food and beverage experience is required
Track record of solid and effective leadership and mentoring skills
Highly disciplined with a focus on elevating guest satisfaction
Exceptional understanding of financials and financial reporting
Prior hotel opening experience is highly valued
