This is a General Manager position with a successful, chef-driven restaurant concept in a hip, luxury Manhattan hotel setting. The diversified cuisine, pulling in flavors from around the globe, is complemented by an outstanding beverage program. The General Manager will be responsible for driving guest satisfaction, team member development, and financial management within this high profile, boutique restaurant. -Minimum 2 years of General Manager experience (or equivalent) in an upscale casual to fine dining restaurant with heavy bar/lounge volume, or food & beverage division of a luxury hotel.
-Experience with annual revenue of $4M as a minimum (Ideally $6M+)
-Candidates should have a proven track record of consistently creating an engaging and energetic environment where all associates work as a team.
-Strong leadership capabilities and a passion to drive sales and service in a great downtown Boston location.
-Strong knowledge of income statements (P & L) and leadership ability to take action based on the numbers.
-Ability to recruit, train, lead and motivate a team effectively.
-Above average beer/wine/liquor knowledge.
-Exudes personal professionalism and sophistication at all times.
-A sound foundation of knowledge in laws/regulations pertaining to hospitality human resources compliance.
