An expanding urban-casual eatery is looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage costs (food, labor, etc.) as well as support the team in regards to strategy, policies, service staff and food. He or She must have a strong willingness to become part of a community that is focused on making connections and strengthening those that already exist. Must be self-disciplined, able to take initiative, demonstrate leadership ability and have an outgoing personality.
Our Kitchen Manager must have excellent communication skills - pleasant, polite and able to communicate effectively to staff, guests and leadership.
Able to demostrate grace under pressure.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role for a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
Ability to work with spreadsheets and has an understanding of inventory and current restaurant technology.
