Kitchen Manager – High Volume, Scratch Kitchen

$60,000 to $65,000 plus benfits, bonus and PTO

We are searching for a professional Kitchen Manager/Executive Chef for a bustling, casual full-service restaurant, and bar. This person will lead the back of house team with consistent planning, production, and preparation in our scratch kitchen. In addition, the Kitchen Manager will be able to recruit, interview and hire in order to assemble the best team in the industry.


Executing all culinary initiatives
Using your experience to help the restaurant reach its financial goals by managing food cost and labor categories
Writing and developing performance reviews
Placing orders and checking incoming deliveries for quality
Upholding food preparation, safety and sanitation standards

Must have 2+ years of kitchen management experience in a full service, moderate to high volume restaurant
Culinary school background a plus
Ability to speak and understand Spanish a plus
Ability to work ten hour-plus shifts with the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs as needed
Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery, knives, etc
Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam and heat and work in a confined area
Must possess abilities to distinguish product, taste, texture, temperature, presentation and preparation
