We are looking for an Executive Chef for this fine dining restaurant at Avalon in Alpharetta. The Executive Chef must have a background in Upscale, Fine Dining restaurants and be able to do well under pressure. This is a very busy restaurant. The Executive Chefs's role is to make sure the kitchen runs smoothly. This involves ensuring healthy cooperation between FOH and BOH, monitoring controllable costs and coordinating meal services (lunch & dinner) and events.
Candidate should have at least 3 years of Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience in a high-volume atmosphere. Ideal candidate will be passionate about creating delicious cuisine using locally sourced products including pasture-raised, humanely-farmed meats. Basic P&L and cost control experience a must. Candidate will be a strong team leader with excellent communication skills and be able thrive in a high volume, high energy restaurant environment. A culinary degree would be a plus.
