Hiring, training of hostesses.
Restaurant atmosphere. Control music, temperature and light levels, and maintain overall appearance of the restaurant at all times.
Assist in problem solving when necessary to maintain guest satisfaction and staff efficiency.
Draw up floorplan, assign sections and sidework, and conduct line up with Captain (when applicable)
Communicate with GM and AGM about all matters pertaining to FOH.
Attend weekly Manager meeting to go over upcoming events, updates on maintenance of steps of service, staff performance consistency and any other issue that might require attention.
Assist in promoting restaurant events according to marketing requirements, including, but not limited to: handouts to The Shops Buckhead Tenants, and top Hotel Concierge in neighborhood, and purchase of promotional items
Responsible for collection of server, bar and captain check outs including Cash for each shift worked and entering numbers in daily reports and spreadsheets.
Ordering of self and valet parking validations
Oversee the proper execution of florist agreement
Oversee orders of soap, lotion and candles
Adjustments to open table and grids for reservations.
Responsible for communication and organization of large parties and private events
Knowledge of all Dining Room systems and operations (To Go, Host, Bar, and service standards) and Kitchen (expo, smoker, prep line quality identifiers and standards); must demonstrate the ability to run effective shifts in all aspects of the restaurant. Experience with above responsibilities in an upscale restaurant setting. Polished look and a positive attitude!
