RESPONSIBILITIES:

We have a unique opportunity for a talented Executive Chef with multi-unit experience. Our client manages a combination of two full-service restaurants, two conference centers, a cafe, and a private club located in both Augusta and Macon, Georgia. What makes these operations so unique is they are applied learning businesses at a regional Culinary School. The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations between the six venues. The role will require the Executive Chef to work closely with the college as a partner in guiding their culinary programs. The ideal candidate will have high volume multi-unit experience in polished, upscale dining and have previous experience as a culinary instructor. This individual will be a driving force behind an innovative partnership between the thriving culinary school and successful for-profits businesses.

Additional Responsibilities for the Executive Chef include:

*Direct and oversee all culinary operations, to include, but not limited to, production of all menus and recipes, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations, team *member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability
*Create and implement new menus and individual menu items for outlets based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with Director of Food and Beverage
*Interact with guests and clients to monitor and assess satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
*Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
*Perform general management duties including, but not limited to, systems management, budget and forecasting, report generation, department management, and meeting participation and facilitation
*Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward

REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements for the Executive Chef include:

*5+ years as an Executive Chef in the success of a full service, high-volume, multi-unit culinary operation
*Willing to be part of something more than a restaurant and buy into the idea whereby you empower individuals with the skills to be successful and coach them into a career and profession you care deeply about
*Expert knowledge and understanding of the financial aspects of business operations
*Caring, self-motivated and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence
*Strong passion for culinary excellence and you are exceptionally detailed
*Resilient in stressful situations and always able to handle last-minute requests
*Experience in a combination of full-service fine dining, catering, and banquets
