We are looking for a Pastry Chef to lead a new upscale, Japanese eatery in downtown Raleigh. The ideal candidate needs to be extremely organized, professional, and passionate about delivering unique dining experiences for our guests. Must have 2 plus years of experience and comfortable working in a high-profile, fast-paced environment.
Duties include the planning, prep, set up and prepare quality products in all areas of desserts to include, but not limited to pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, simple syrups, jams, in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment up to Health Department standards. Coordinate daily specials and prep sheets with the Executive Chef.
