General Manager – Fun, Sophisticated Bar & Restaurant Concept

This growing hospitality group is seeking a talented General Manager to lead a bustling venue which focuses on vibrant hospitality in a festive environment. The General Manager’s responsibilities include:

• Lead a capable and charismatic team of both FOH and BOH employees in a firm but gracious manner
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting for all controllable costs
• Full P & L Management. Responsible for overseeing budgets, forecasts, labor, and profitability
• Maintain an A letter grade from the DOH by ensuring all food handling, sanitation, and food safety requirements are being followed
• Maintaining standards according to DOH, fire safety, and employment regulations
• Foster a positive company culture of a commitment to excellence
• Work with the Catering Sales Manager to foster and oversee a large group dining, events, and drop-off catering program


• 3 years minimum recent experience as a General Manager of a large full-service NYC restaurant establishment
• Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, and leadership
• NYC DOH Food Handler’s Certification
• Experience working in many levels and departments of the restaurant and bar business with genuine respect for the role that every team member plays in the restaurant’s success
• Ownership mentality (care for the establishment as it if were your own)
• Proven team player willing to roll up your sleeves
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
• A good sense of humor, positive attitude, and passion for hospitality
