We are assisting a James Beard Awarding chef with the search for a Restaurant Manager for a new concept coming to Asheville later this fall. The restaurant's food will be designed around the traditions and history of the area. It will pay homage to the African American Community in Asheville that worked and lived around the Foundry that provided steel for the construction of the Biltmore House. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a chef-driven independent restaurant as well as hotel experience. The concept will be breakfast and dinner with banquets at the hotel. The restaurant manager will work side by side with the chef-owner developing standards and building a team for success.
*Two plus years of restaurant management experience in a chef-driven concept
*Passion for service with the ability to create great dining experiences
*The desire to be part of a team that creates a sense of place and shares a cities history
*Ability to lead large teams with grace
*A love for soul food and Appalachia
