This successful NYC based restaurant group is steadily growing and seeking a talented and creative Field Training Manager. The Field Training Manager will work with all levels of employees; from hourly staff to management. This challenging role involves various teaching and organizational development responsibilities including overseeing the execution of all new employee training and onboarding programs, ensuring the efficient rollout of new learning materials and operational systems in all restaurants, and managing the pre-training program at new restaurant openings. Conducting group training sessions is an essential function of this position, and candidates should have strong facilitation skills.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of Restaurant Training Store Manager, Corporate Trainer, Field Training Manager, or equivalent experience specifically in the restaurant or foodservice industry with oversight of 10 locations as a minimum. Instructional design experience with a focus on product knowledge, including adult learning theory and current training methods, as well as needs/job task analysis skills. Knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Pro. Highly effective writing, proofing and editing abilities. The Field Training Manager must be a true believer in the company and its authentic, top-quality products and be able to share his/her passion with employees and customers in a fun and inspiring way. Must be honest, genuine, and have an ownership-driven mentality with a hands-on, creative approach to work and promoting restaurant learning solutions.
