The Vice President of Supply Chain for this growing, 70+ location, fresh food, full-service restaurant group will be a strategic leader that oversees supply chain, logistics operations and purchasing strategies and execution to enable sustainable growth that achieves business objectives. Business objectives are achieved through, among other things, effective inventory management, competitive pricing, increased efficiencies, process and operational improvements, creative and analytical problem solving and collaboration. This position interacts with executive leadership, cross functional teams, and vendors to ensure optimal working relationships, service and results.
The ideal candidate for this position will bring 10+ years of restaurant industry supply chain experience with 5 of those years in a senior leadership capacity. Other qualifications include:
*Significant knowledge across fresh food supply markets including proteins, produce, dairy, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and hedging strategies
*Extensive knowledge of food safety and quality assurance experience with food manufacturers and a working knowledge of product development
*Experience developing and implementing supply chain capabilities with meaningful impact
*Strong negotiation skills
*Ability to effectively lead and develop a team
*Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management, MBA preferred
This position will office out of the group's restaurant support center located in Dallas, Texas. Candidates must live in the area or be willing to relocate there to be considered for this role.
