An ever-expanding hip and casual foodservice brand is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Human Resources to lead the HR Department at its national headquarters. The Austin, Texas-based support center where this role is located, is buzzing with activity and energetic people due to the company’s success and growth. This role will report to the CEO and support human resource strategies, organizational priorities and initiatives by following established processes, procedures, and programs that align with the company’s core values. This company is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources who will make sure all 'I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed while cultivating and inspiring a culture of team-oriented success along the way. This position will office out of the group's restaurant support center located in Austin, Texas. Candidates must live in the area or be willing to relocate there to be considered for this role. Financial assistance for relocation expenses is available.


-Minimum 5 years of human resources leadership experience in a senior director, VP, CPO, or similar role.
-Experience in the hospitality or food service industries with knowledge of relevant exempt and non-exempt wage regulations.
-Proven success in being a trusted resource/advisor to field operations and restaurant leadership
-Bachelor's degree in human resources (or in related field)
-Experience working with off-site employees in multiple locations.
-Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and civil rights laws
-Working knowledge of EEO, FMLA, CFRA, COBRA
-Experience in developing reward and recognition programs and training strategies.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
-Demonstrated understanding of HRIS/payroll- UltiPro a plus
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
